How Killer Brands (Pty) Ltd collects and uses personal information, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
Who we are
Killer Brands (Pty) Ltd is a wholesale distributor of airguns, optics, archery, tactical and outdoor products, based at 681 Pretoria Main Rd, Wynberg, Sandton, Johannesburg, 2090. For this notice, we are the responsible party for personal information you give us.
What we collect
This website has no user accounts, no tracking cookies and no advertising scripts. We only receive personal information when you choose to send it to us: when you email us, message us on WhatsApp, call us, or use one of the forms on this site. The forms open your own email app with your details filled in; nothing is stored on this website.
The site's typefaces are served by Google Fonts, which receives your device's IP address when a page loads, as with any web request.
Depending on the request, this can include your name, shop or company name, registration and dealer licence numbers, phone number, email address, town and province, and the content of your message.
The dealer portal preview stores your draft order only in your own browser, so it is there when you come back. It is not sent to us unless you send it.
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry, support ticket or stockist request.
- To assess and open a dealer account, and to arrange visits by our sales reps.
- To process orders, deliveries, invoices and warranty claims.
- To meet our legal obligations, including record keeping for licence controlled products under the Firearms Control Act 60 of 2000.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only where needed to do the work above, for example with couriers for deliveries, with our accounting and email service providers, or with authorities where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as the law requires.
